William Wagner, III
Community Scholarship Recipient – 2012
William is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, currently working in the Financial Advising/Wealth Management industry as a Financial Advisor. At his firm, he plays the role as the Chief Financial Officer of families by presenting the current financial state of the household, identifying their short term and long term goals, and ultimately formulating paths in order to reach said goals. In his time away from work he enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, watching copious amounts of football, and reading the newspaper.
Advice for WL Seniors:
Continue to be involved. Regardless of if you enter the workforce immediately after graduation, go to study a trade at school, or you go off to college, you will continue to have the opportunity to get involved in things you are passionate about. I had the unique opportunity to remain involved in the game of football by entering the coaching realm my freshman year of college, and it was one of the greatest opportunities of my life. Not only are you remaining involved in something you are passionate about, but you are continually meeting new people and expanding your horizons. Whether it be in a college club, a church group, or local politics; find something you take interest in and get involved.
